Mr.Buckland

Mr. Buckland is of Jamaican descent, the first of his family to be born in the United States. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and raised in the Bronx, N.Y. Buckland attended a Jewish Pre-school and St. Mary’s Catholic school until grade 3.

Buckland moved to Miami and has been a product of public school system ever since. He called Winston Park and Kendall Lakes Elementary schools home before going to junior high at Hammocks and Arvida middle schools.

For high school Miami Killian Senior was home for Mr. Buckland. He would want me to say, “Go Cougars!” For college Buckland attended Florida State University. He would want me to say, “Go Noles!”
